Before moving to Dallas, my husband, Dwayne, and I were living in southern California. While we loved it there, we quickly realized that trying to buy our first home there was a terrible idea. We decided to relocate to the North Texas area in July 2010. We knew we were in the right place when we discovered the wonderful city of Frisco shortly after moving here and 3 months later we were already signing a contract to build in Panther Creek Estates. We officially took possession of our home in April 2011 and by July I had 3 children enrolled in my newly opened in home daycare which is currently still going strong. It didn’t take me long to discover that we had a great group of volunteers serving in PCE. I have always enjoyed being involved in the community in my hometown and all through college, so after having limited options during apartment living the past several years, I was excited to discover the community we had chosen had a very involved group of volunteers working for it. I started out as a Safety Committee member, became the Safety Committee Chair shortly thereafter, and then finally moved on to becoming an HOA Board Member where I have remained ever since. I love being involved and being able to work with such a great group of people. Dwayne and I have one daughter, Madison, and we are looking forward to raising her and her future brothers and/or sisters in this great neighborhood!
