Holiday Trash and Recycling

| No services on Christmas or New Year’s Day – residents with Friday collection will be serviced on Saturday, December 26th and January 2nd. Special holiday service Extra trash is allowed outside the cart/s the week following the holiday, 26 – 31th December (inclusive). Trash must be bagged (no loose trash will be collected) Place bags 3 feet from the carts and away from obstructions. CHRISTMAS TREE RECYCLING Curbside pick-up provided. All trees will be composted and not taken to the landfill. Follow these set-out guidelines:• Place tree (s) out on you regular collection day • Place tree (s) 3 feet away from carts • Remove supports (metal and wood), electrical wiring, lights, tinsel and ornaments. • Do not cover with a plastic bag, as this will prevent pick up Trees over 5 feet in height must be cut into sections not exceeding 4 feet in length or 60 lbs each. Failure to comply with these guidelines will result in non collection. FLOCKED TREES ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE The chemical component in flocking material prevents composting of these trees.
