Regrettably, feces have again been found in the pool and health regulations require that the pool be closed for 24 hours  We will close this morning, and re-open Thursday August 14 @ 10 a.m.

Following the City of Frisco’s lead, the Panther Creek Estates HOA pool will be closed on Monday August 4, 2008 in order to “super chlorinate” as a precautionary measure.  All chemical levels for our pool have been within the ’safe’ range mandated by the state of Texas. However many North Texas community/city pools are taking proactive steps to treat for parasites and the Board and Management Company felt it was prudent to do the same. The pool will reopen on Tuesday at the regular time.

Regrettably, a child has had an accident in the pool and health regulations require that the pool be closed for 24 hours. We will open again Friday July 11 approximately 3:30pm.

The board has been reviewing the security of the pool over the last few weeks.  We have noted the number of incidents (including vandalism, unacceptable behavior, etc) is down from last year, but still at a level that is not acceptable to our neighborhood.  With this in mind we have chosen to hire a security company to monitor the pool, and enforce the pool rules.  Beginning July 1st, when the security company is onsite, residents must show proof of ID AND their pool key to gain entry into the pool.  The security company will then check the residency status of the person with a list of property owners we have provided to them.  If the name is not reflected on that list the person will not be allowed in.  They will also be enforcing the pool rules posted inside the gates.  Please remember these are not liifeguards so residents still swim at their own risk.  If you have any questions please contact the board.

Your PCE HOA Pool Committee is pleased to announce that the 2008 season will begin on May 1. Please review the Pool Rules posted on the Pool Committee page of this site and at the Pool. Remember children under 15 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. If you need a Pool Key there is a form on the committee page. Be safe and have fun this summer at the pool!

The board has received several complaints regarding problems at the pool including kids jumping fences, throwing furniture in the pool, or bypassing the locks on the gates. The Pool Committee has been exploring various solutions including a key card access system (rather than the keys currently used), a video monitoring system, and other preventative measures. Also you will be receiving Pool Rules and a waiver in the mail. Please continue to keep us informed at pool@panthercreekestates.org and check back for updates.
