HOA Annual Budget

The board approved the 2009 annual budget at its December 17th board meeting.  It will be available for review in the coming days on this website.  The most significant change from past years is an increase in expected charge offs due to foreclosures and bankruptcies.  There is no increase in fees for 2009, and the board does not expect an increase in subsequent years at this time.  We have, however, had to decrease the amount we anticipated being able to spend on capital improvements to landscaping and any major improvements to the pool area have been put on hold for the time being.  We have begun the planning process for the large open area near our main entrance along Hillcrest.  Due to the size of the area this will be a multi year project that will be done in various phases.

CITY OFFERS ‘TIPS’ FOR TACKLING RODENTS

The City of Frisco offers residents ‘tips’ for tackling rodents in neighborhoods — and reminds homeowners it’s common for neighborhood rodent populations to rise as temperatures drop.

“Because the weather is changing, rats and mice are seeking warmer habitats,” said Greg Carr, Code Enforcement and Animal Control Administrator.  “Residents who live near construction or newly cut fields or farmland may also experience an increase of rodents in their area since construction and plowing displaces the rats and mice from their natural habitats.” More »

School Supplies Collection for Frisco Family Services

The FFS Back to School Program is in need of our support.  Many of the families they serve are unable to provide the necessary supplies needed for school due to crisis in the family and/or limited income.  They will be providing school supplies, new clothing, new shoes and hygiene items for approximately 500 needy children in Frisco.
Panther Creek Estates Residents are ongoing supporters of FFS and this is a great project in which we can truly make a difference in the community!
Bring  items to one of our two neighborhood drop offs prior to August 12- White Residence 11497 Mansfield Drive, Morgan Residence 12786 Gardendale Drive. For a list of supplies see our PCE newsletter or the FFS website. Thank You.
