Looking for a few good men and women….

The Panther Creek Association of Homeowners, will elect four (4) members to the board of directors at our annual meeting in October of 2011.  The HOA is not some outside organization made up of strangers.  It is an association of all the homeowners in our neighborhood.  It is run by a board of directors that is elected from these member and by these members.  As the chairman of the 2011 nominating committee, I ask that you consider volunteering your time and come help your neighbors by running for a position on the board.

How much time does it require?   The Board of Directors meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month for approximately 2 hours to conduct the business of the Association.  Each Director is also a liaison to a committee and responsible for communication between the committee and the Board. Committees and Board positions vary in terms of time commitment beyond meetings.  All Directors are encouraged to attend the Annual Meeting and Social or other Committee activities.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please complete the 2011 Board Candidacy Form and return it before September 26th, 2011 to RealManage by email to service@realmanage.com, by Fax to 1-866-919-5696 or by mail to RealManage PO Box 703267 Dallas, TX 75370-3267.  Although nominations will be accepted from the floor at the meeting, please consider completing and returning the form by the above deadline, to allow the information about who is running to be placed on the panthercreekestates.org website before the election for review by the members.  If you have any questions about positions or the election process, please contact me at pcehoa@milfordmail.com.

Please join me in making the best neighborhood in Frisco even better!

Bill Milford, Panther Creek Estates Board President and Nominating Committee Chairman.

August 2011 Agenda

Safety Committee

We’ve received alot of feedback from people that are interested in joining the safety committee.

If you are interested please email the board, or safety committee, with your name phone number and email.  I’ll compile a list of interested residents and in a few days set up a meeting time.

The safety committee will focus on a number of issues related to safety in and around the neighborhood.  There has also been some interest in possibly establishing a relationship with Maus Middle School so that we might be able to jointly address some concerns.

Maus Middle School Sidewalk

FISD will be constructing a sidewalk to connect PCE to the middle school.  This is a link with the approximate location of where it will tie into the nieghborhood.  It is possible in the future the location of the sidewalk will change slightly.  The perference is to tie it into the greenbelt just north of this area, but that cannot be done until the property north of the school is developed.

During construction please ask your children to be cautious around this area if they are walking home through the field.
