Early Voting Begins Today

Early voting for this election will run from 10/20-10/31. The closest early voting polling place to PCE is the Collin College Preston Ridge Campus, 9700 Wade Blvd.  During this time you can vote at any location in the County, the complete list and schedule is below.  If you wait until November 4, you may only vote at Roach Middle School, 12499 Independence.  Heavy turnout is expected, beat the crowd and vote early!  For additional information email vote@panthercreekestates.org or call the County Elections office 972.547.1990.

The Watchdog is the newsletter of the Frisco Neighborhood Watch.  Panther Creek Estates will be participating in National Night Out. Stay tuned for details. Also our Safety Committee is always looking for more members and block captains.

TIME OF DAY WATER RESTRICTIONS

A reminder that the City of Frisco has Time of Day water restrictions in place through 9/30 and watering efficiently can help preserve your landscaping during days of triple digit temperatures.

No outdoor watering between the hours of 5 a.m. and 8 a.m., and between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
No daily outdoor watering allowed during rainfall
No excessive watering that allows water runoff to paved areas or other water waste.

Report from City of Frisco Town Hall Meeting

Mayor Maso held his first very successful Town Hall meeting last night 7/21. Of particular interest to Panther Creek Estate residents:

Applications are being accepted for City Hall 101 (email communications committee to speak to past graduates,) and Police, Fire and CERT academies.

Frisco Assistant Code Team- first training 8/2 at the Senior Center noon-4pm. Learn how to help preserve property values and discourage crime in PCE by working together with the City Code Enforcement Department.

Road Update- State roads Preston and Eldorado construction continues for several more years. Several city projects are complete.

Run off Election

The City of Frisco Runoff Election for City Council Place 5 between Bart Crowder and Tim Nelson will be conducted on June14th. Early voting begins June 2 at Collin College, the Cotton Gin Rd Fire Station and the CC Elections office. Email vote@panthercreekestates.org or the County elections office for more information.

Get out and Vote!!

Elections for the City of Frisco are underway.  The board encourages all of our residents to get out and vote.  This year we are electing our Mayor, 2 city council places, and 2 school board trustees.  The three individuals elected to the city council will serve Frisco for the next three years.

Early voting will continue Tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday at Collin County Community College on Preston and Wade, as well as the fire station at Main and Legacy.  Times are from 8-5 tomorrow, and 7-7 Monday and Tuesday.

Election Day is May 10th at Wester Middle School.

As a Board we do not endorse any specific candidate, but we can help direct you to the various candidates if you need information on them.

Buescher Homes Lots

While the Buescher Homes bankruptcy case is still in court your Board of Directors has contracted to have the affected lots cleaned. The City of Frisco Code Enforcement department will now take over maintenance of these lots and plan to mow on a regular basis beginning in 2-3 weeks.

City of Frisco Elections

On May 10, Frisco voters will elect a new mayor and 2 new city council members. We will also be considering a referendum on an ordinance regulating ‘late hours’ alcohol sales. You must be registered by April 10, 2008 to vote.
Maher Maso and Matt Lafata are running for mayor.  Candidates Bart Crowder, John C. Newsome, Antonio Luevano and Tim H. Nelson are running for Place 5.  Candidates Scott Johnson, Jim Tupper, Buddy Clark and LaDella Levy are vying for Place 6.
Early voting is April 28 - May 6, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Frisco Fire Station #4, 4485 Cotton Gin; Preston Ridge Campus, Collin College, 9700 Wade Blvd.; and the Collin County Elections Office, 2010 Red Bud Blvd., Suite 102, in McKinney.
The General Election will be held Saturday, May 10 from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
If you vote on Election Day, PCE residents must go to Wester Middle School, 12293 Shepherds Hill Lane.
